Be inspired by the first cultures of humanity...
Its gardens and buildings were thoroughly exotic attractions, where boldness and stupefaction held sway. Plant species from all over the world stood side by side with classical and antique-inspired statues, astonishing visitors with every step. Today, Châteauform' keeps this vision alive by welcoming participants to a sumptuous neoclassical castle that is home to ancestral and contemporary curiosities from all over the world, each style complementing the next, like a poetic echo creating an original dialogue that anchors the castle in its era. A resonance of mankind's primitive art and culture in today's world, an invitation to escape, to look at oneself and the world differently.

Isabelle & Matthieu
It is a family home that everyone dreams of owning, an invitation to travel through time and space. The elegance of the setting and the refinement of the decor have allowed us to make daring and offbeat choices, and to create an interior that reflects several points of view, some of which are not quite expected! Primitive art at centre stage in an 18th century setting... ! What some might call heresy, others might call boldness...! This original and primitive spirit will be symbolised by raw and handcrafted materials, flirting with the sophistication of mouldings and gilding, but also by ethnic and coloured patterns breaking with the classicism of the woodwork, and finally by warm, natural, primary colours... A perfect environment to open up new perspectives and think out of the box.

Our favourite feature
The Château de Herces was built in 1772 by the architect Jacques-Denis Antoine. The neoclassical castle is distinguished above all by the fact that, like the Petit Trianon in Versaillles, it has four different façades: It is also listed as a historical monument.
