This 12th century site, home to a former convent and farm, can host your large-scale seminars just 45 minutes outside of Brussels. With its generous volumes and 110 bedrooms, La Grande Abbaye de la Ramée is the ideal setting for large gatherings that need room to spread out. The 30 fully equipped meeting rooms, all bathed in natural light, can cater to all your meeting requirements for 4 to 120 participants. The commanding central tithe barn boasts a 21m-high wooden ceiling held up by 25 brick columns, creating a dynamic space for your events of up to 800 guests. There is an array of activities your participants can choose when its time to unwind: quiet reading on the lawn by the lakeside, an invigorating walk around the estate, relaxation in the wellbeing space, a cycle across the surrounding fields, an archery tournament, a pétanque contest, and more. La Grande Abbaye de la Ramée is only 40 minutes from Brussels and can be reached from any direction. This 13th century Cistercian site includes a farm and a former convent which can be the theatrical scene for all your projects. La Ferme de la Ramée, built from brick, slate and Belgian blue stone, accommodates your teams in a setting combining spacious rooms with the warmth of northern interiors… The Convent, with its large windows looking out onto English-style grounds, is steeped in a monastic past and makes it a sedate venue for your training sessions…

The monumental 700 sq.m. tithe barn, the largest of its kind in Belgium, for your grand events, celebrations and gala dinners of up to 400 spectators, 600 guests seated for dinner and 1,200 cocktail participants!
With the Abbaye de la Ramée’s many meeting spaces, you can keep things interesting and will be sure to delight your participants. Start your day in the Chapelle du Couvent, a meeting room bathed in multi-coloured light streaming in from the high windows. Then continue on with a plenary meeting in the Théâtre, located amongst the old stables. Smaller groups can convene in the Ferme's attic rooms. Enjoy a gourmet break under the oak tree in the courtyard before ending with a seminar in the fully-equipped, high-tech 760 sqm Grange Dimière.

The Chef at the Abbaye de la Ramée make dishes to satisfy and amaze. How about a casual meal in Les Ecuries? Taste and enjoy our Ramée beer in the cozy ambiance of a sitting room before meeting up to savour a pietrain pig cooked on a spit in the brick vault. Perhaps you would prefer a festive dinner in La Grange? Allow our Chefs to delight you with dishes proudly prepared using local ingredients, such as duck foie gras with gingerbread crumbs or filet of sole à l’Ostendaise.
