I have been organising residential seminars for executive committees, management meetings and every type of department across Europe, Asia and the Americas for over 30 years.

I have always been struck by how poorly venues cater for such events. Sometimes the meeting rooms are uncomfortable or badly equipped, sometimes the venues themselves are unsuitable - they are frequently too large and participants feel lost among other groups, wedding parties, business people and holidaymakers.


It is often impossible to take an extended break during the working day because either there are no activities on offer or there is nowhere to go to unwind, chat and simply get to know other participants. Meals are heavy and lengthy. Participants are once again seated and no consideration is taken of the group’s needs.
All of these reasons led me to create Châteauform’ The Home of Seminars, over ten years ago: tailor-made venues for company meetings, training events and workshops where work and relaxation are seamlessly combined and participants can take time out for reflection. Your team can make themselves at home and even have the entire site to themselves. Our venues are not hotels, restaurants, or a complex of endless meeting rooms. Instead, they are elegant yet comfortable properties set in private parkland well away from the hubbub of city life, offering an environment conducive to strategic thinking, productive meetings, team-building and relaxation. Our houses, so different from run-of-the-mill seminar venues, will allow participants to escape from their daily routine.
